A New Day in the Life of McMommy

With more and more wonderful phone calls and texts saying "McBaby is going to have a new friend!" my hubby and I couldn't be happier for our friends to become future mom and dad buddies!

We're 3 weeks away from our 3rd anniversary.
We have a 7 months, 1 week and 3 days old baby.
I'm officially in business for myself with my design business and working out of my home!
The hubby is home for the summer from teaching with some summer gigs and private lessons scattered on the calendar.
We're tag teaming childcare until we can't really do it anymore and at the point that I need more hours to get client projects done.

So our day to day lives have completely 180'd in the past 5 weeks.
We've cut the commute out of our day, eliminating 800 driven miles weekly!

We're 6 mins from Todd's work, 1 minute from a grocery store, and a modest 25 minutes to downtown.
It's a lovely thing, having so little distance between us all day. Come fall, when Todd goes back to his school year gig, we're going to be in a completely different rhythm. I'm excited for the seasons of our life as a family and the quick, flexible style of our lives right now.  We're so blessed to have such a blossoming and happy family! We are never at a loss for reasons to smile.
